Would you like a story? You would? Then gather round.
This is a story about a boy named Brian. Brian was a big boy with a big mouth. Sometimes people who met Brian would think that perhaps back when he was just a little boy, someone should’ve told him, just once, to shush that mouth. But it was too late for that now.
One day Brian saw some drag queens and drag kings. They were dressed in all the colours of the rainbow. They sparkled and shone in their pretty clothes, and their fabulous makeup, and their wonderful hair that they had spent even more time on than Brian spent on his own well-attended coiffure.
When Brian saw the drag queens and drag kings he felt strange feelings and urges rise up within him. He became stirred and excited, and hot under the collar of his genuine leather jacket.
‘Just imagine what sort of things those people must get up to….’ said Brian, as a funny look came over his face.
Now tell me: what do you think Brian did when he felt these strange feelings and urges? Did he take a long cold shower? No, he did not. Did he go on a 10-kilometre run to shake away those feelings and urges? No, he did not. Did he take those feelings and urges and turn them off, like a light switch? No, he did not.
Brian decided that what he really wanted to do was to get much closer to those drag queens and drag kings. He wanted to get right in their faces.
