The final episode is yet to drop of Trump Trial 1 – Dodgy Days and Stormy Nights, the mini-series that has been gripping the US like a redneck’s rottweiler. But the reviews are in, and the critics are scathing.

BigScreener magazine eviscerated the plot, remarking that ‘the excruciating premise of Trump Trial 1 puts the ‘lewd’ in ‘ludicrous’’.

‘Think of the elevator pitch: A sleazy New York property mogul has an in-no-way erotic encounter with an adult film actress while his wife is pregnant. Ew.
